“But it’s too difficult, isn’t it — so much easier to pretend to want a career, so much easier to pretend to be gay, so much easier to pretend to be whatever your dad pretends to be I’ll bet.”

He’s gay. She’s a lesbian. But somehow it’s not quite that simple; especially when they’re wearing each other’s clothes. This stand up theatre show explores the labels we put on one another, and the performative nature of gender and sexuality.

He has just moved to the UK to attend university in London; She is fresh out of a foster care home, trying to make it on her own. The two bond over their sexuality and unluckiness in love, but soon their idyllic life starts to fall apart, and they have to question what it is they want to be, and where they want to go.
