A young girl's struggle to find a memory of her father that she can call her own.

Developed at Connecticut College and The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Kitestring debuts the heart wrenchingly honest, one woman show, The Strongest Girl in the World, at the Alma Tavern.

The Strongest Girl in the World, is a solo performance about one woman's journey to learn more about her late father and her former self. Truly yearns to understand the carefree child that she once was; her father’s daughter. As Truly tells it, she "knows [her] father through other people." In the play, she embodies those other people, voicing family members, friends, story book characters and more in an effort to understand who her father was. Telling a story of growth, grief, and resilience, the play is a comedic and heartwarming look at what it means to grow up, and lose the ones we love.
